Early childhood in Japan
I spent my early childhood in Shiga, Japan. Influences from manga and anime fueled my interest for art, and I’ve looked for ways to integrate visual communication into my career ever since.
My first dream job was to become a manga artist :P
2010s
Growing up in the U.S.
I moved to Michigan in the 2nd grade. While adjusting to the new environment was difficult, it gave me new perspectives into our cultural differences at a young age.
2021
Studying at the Ross School of Business
I started studying business at Umich. It refined the direction of my career and gave me the practical frameworks and problem-solving skills to ground my artistic endeavors in a business setting.
2023, 2024
Fidelity Investments, IBM, Coinbase - Internships
To gain experience in the field, I interned at Fidelity during Summer 2023 while concurrently doing an apprenticeship at IBM. The following Summer, I interned at Coinbase.
2025
Returning to Coinbase
I’ll be returning to Coinbase as a full-time product designer after my graduation in 2025!
Enjoying my final semester in college, trying new foods, spending time with friends and family, finding niche places to study on campus, playing way too much League of Legends, etc.
